Day 68 -- Prepping the Balcony

More exterior work was done today. They put up the fiber cement board on the ceiling and front of the balcony area. They also put up the vent on the north side. It gives it a little visual interest. They also put up the "bellyband" underneath this siding area to cover up some of the damaged brick.

They also tar papered the inside of the balcony and put the waterproof membrane on the floor. That was the extent of the exterior. Inside, they put in the foam insulation around the new columns in the walls. I'm hoping this means that the drywallers will be here tomorrow to start finishing this sucker!
