Day 28 -- Badger...Badger...Badger

Okay, for those of you who don't get the reference in the title of this post (Puckett, you may be the only one who does): Our framer's company is Badger Construction. Any time I hear or type "Badger", I can't help but think "Badger...Badger....Badger". Click on the link and you'll see why. Anyway, James and his guys from Badger...Badger...Badger Construction did an awesome job (as usual) knocking out all three staircases today, plus the new expanded landing at the back door. We are continually impressed by their service and how hard they work.

It is soooo cool to be able to walk upstairs to our new addition and to be able to start seeing where everything will be. I can already tell I am going to love the new staircase going upstairs as well as the mudroom. I didn't quite know what to do with myself when I walked in the door and didn't feel like I was about to fall down the stairs. We're also really excited about the new arrangement of the stairs downstairs. Moving them 90 degrees will allow us to create a good sized storage room where the toy room used to be. I hated coming down the stairs and having to walk through a multitude of junk just to get to the rest of the basement. This new configuration is going to be a much better use of the space.
